How it works

Zone in
Play as usual. avaworld listens, passively and read-only, to the game's own traffic and knows which road you just entered.

Read the road
The dossier lands on your second screen: tier, exits, chests, resources, dungeons, and whether there's a Brecilien portal.

Grow the map
Each portal you cross or read becomes a link on your graph, timer included. Walk on, and the map grows with you.

Portals in the Roads open and close all day. avaworld keeps the network you've seen as a graph: every road a ring coloured by tier, every portal a link with its closing time.
- Next roads, at a glance. Every exit from where you stand as a card: tier, chests, Brecilien portals and a countdown.
- Tier by colour. T4 slate, T6 amber, T8 bone. The colours of the map are the colours of the danger.
- Timers that count down. Links turn amber under an hour, then fall off the map on their own.
- Shortest path, free. Pick any road and the route there lights up, portal by portal.

Proof, not promises
Crossing a portal is proof: the link is verified on the spot. A sighting read from the map is a claim, and needs a second, independent traveller to agree on its timer.
Fakes don't pay
Every sighting must match where you actually were. The server checks timelines, timers and plausibility, and only verified data ever reaches the map.
Trust you can see
Each account carries a trust score from 0 to 100. Reliable travellers verify faster. Contradicted ones fade out of the map.

Opt in to credits and your verified contributions earn Premium time, which opens the whole world.

Every submission lands in your ledger: verified, pending or expired, with the credit and trust it earned. New travellers start at 30. Crossings and confirmed sightings raise it; a portal reported as not there costs you.

Albion keeps no match history, and the recap is gone the moment you leave. avaworld keeps every 5v5 crystal arena match on your machine, scoreboard and all, even when you walk out before opening the recap.

Built to stay out of trouble
It reads network traffic. It never modifies the game.
avaworld reads the game's network traffic through Npcap the same way the Albion Online Data Project does. Nothing is injected, nothing is modified, and the game client is never touched. Looking at traffic is fine; interfering with it is not, and avaworld only ever looks.

Questions
Before you step through.
Is avaworld allowed?
avaworld only reads network traffic, passively, like the Albion Online Data Project tools. It does not inject, modify or automate anything, and never touches the game client. As of today that matches Sandbox Interactive's public position on third-party tools, but the call is theirs and can change, so you use avaworld at your own risk.
What do I need to run it?
Windows 10 or 11 and Npcap, installed separately. The app starts without it and tells you what's missing.
How does the community map stay accurate?
Crossing a portal verifies it immediately. A sighting needs agreement from independent, established accounts on the same closing time. Portals reported as missing by trusted travellers disappear, and the people who submitted them lose trust.
Can I keep my discoveries private?
Yes, with a Premium subscription. Earned Premium doesn't include it. Private sightings feed only your own view, while you still see the whole community map. Private contributions don't earn Premium time.
Does earned Premium unlock the Market?
No. Earned Premium opens the whole community world, alerts on community data and unlimited history, but the Market, private contributions and analytics need a Premium subscription.
What happens to my older arena matches on Free?
They stay on your machine. Free shows your last 5 matches, earned Premium your last 7, and a subscription every match you've played, so upgrading reveals the older ones.
Can I cancel Premium?
Any time, from your profile. Nothing is deleted when you go back to Free: your full history, market orders and arena matches are still there when you return.
